Jamie has worked as a speech pathologist for over 16 years across community health, early intervention, private practice and non-government organisations.

She's the sole speech pathologist at Newcastle Paediatric Speech Pathology, where she supports infants, children and their families with feeding and communication. What she loves most is working alongside parents, carers and educators to build confidence, connection and safety, and to make interactions and mealtimes with their little ones feel joyful again.

Alongside her clinical work, Jamie created Steady & Curious, a framework and set of resources helping the adults around children support regulation and connection, and she shares practical guidance with a growing community through Nourished Babes. Her work has been featured on podcasts and in articles across the parenting, feeding and communication space.

Jamie is also a mother of three, so she knows the complexities of family life from the inside. Her practice is individualised and child-led, grounded in play, responsive feeding, relationship-centred care and evidence-based practice.
